In this meditation we will do a full scan of the body from head to tie, noticing any sensations along the way.
I come back to this meditation every day to stay grounded — sometimes just for 1 minute, other times for 30 minutes or longer. The body scan is foundational.
Pay attention to any sensations like heat, tension, tightness, tingling, contraction, and whatever else you notice. As you do, let go of any commentary or stories, and simply be with the sensations.
Notice this truth that whatever you are reacting to is actually a reaction towards that sensation – how badly you want it to go away, or how you love it and want it to stay, or how quickly you are to judge it and make a story around it.
After the body scan take a few moments to see how the body-mind-heart has shifted.
